Mariusz Łabiński
Urodzony w 1967 roku. W latach 1988-1993 studiował w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu. W 1993 roku uzyskał dyplom z wyróżnieniem w pracowni projektowania szkła prof. Zbigniewa Horbowego i prof. Małgorzaty Dajewskiej. Od 1994 roku pracuje jako asystent na macierzystej uczelni, od 2003 roku z tytułem doktora. Autor dwóch międzynarodowych projektów: Ekoglass oraz Strefy Szkła. Swoją twórczość prezentował na licznych wystawach krajowych, m. in. we Wrocławiu, Poznaniu, Warszawie, Krakowie, Szczecinie, Jeleniej Górze, a także wystawach zagranicznych, m. in. w Japonii, Niemczech, Holandii, Finlandii, Danii, we Włoszech i USA. Prace artysty znajdują się w zbiorach Glasmuseum Alter Hof Herding w Coesfeld (Niemcy), Museum Jana Van Der Togt w Amstelveen (Holandia), Muzeum Karkonoskiego w Jeleniej Górze oraz Centrum Dziedzictwa Szkła w Krośnie.

Born in 1967 in Wroclaw, Poland. Studied in 1988 - 1993 at the Glass and Ceramics Department of the Wroclaw Academy of Arts. In 2003 gained the PhD degree. Teaches at the Wroclaw Academy of Arts in the profesor Malgorzata Dajewska’s workshop. 2006-2008 and 2012-2016 – chairman of the Glass Art Department at the Wroclaw Academy of Arts. Since 1992 participated in numerous exhibitions and symposiums in Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Germany, Italy. He was also an organizer and a curator of many glass conferences for Young artists as well as exhibitions in Poland and Slovakia. In 2008-2013, the artist realized the project of the blown glass studio at the Wroclaw Academy of Arts. An author and an organizer of two international Glass events in Poland: „Ekoglass” and „Sfear of Glass”. Works with artistic glass and design.
